It’s 12:30pm and I’ve been at the office since 6:30am trying to catch up and I’m still not on top of things. It’s been a really big week in Real Estate with an awful lot going on. I haven’t even cleaned off the whiteboard for May (seems a pity as we had a cracker of a month) as yet and the guys are already adding this month’s sales and leasing results at the bottom of the board.
Whilst I was in early trying to get things done my old mate Sir Milton Coombe met with some clients who it seems have just purchased a lovely home in Swan Court Yangebup. Milton said “There you go boss it’s my day off and I’ve done it again” . I said “Don’t get too excited old son, it’s only 8:00am in the morning, your day off hasn’t started yet” . Then he smiled and said “I’ll have another one for you at 4:30pm this afternoon” .
We’ve had some great results this week with literally millions and millions of dollars worth of sales and it appears we will be “driving very hard” right up to the end of June and the financial year. It’s been a fabulous year so far and I can’t wait to do all our final figures and begin what will be Mig’s and my fourth year in business together.
Next Tuesday will see the arrival of our new salesman Mark Wilson. Mark has been in the business for ten year and is keen to be a part of what we are doing here at the coal face of Real Estate in W.A.
One of our new arrivals Jeanette is busy doing her admin work but is anxiously awaiting her “new bute flat screen bookkeeping machine” which should arrive today.
