There is just so much happening here at the coal face of Real Estate in Western Australia. We are all extremely busy and our figures are certainly reflecting that.
We have been very busy in our residential rental department and our people have been doing some exceptional work. It was nice of one of our clients to show their appreciation by sending flowers to Melita for a job well done.
Migi and I had a most interesting night at the ANZ Federal Budget Dinner and really enjoyed the excellent speakers especially Alan Carroll. His simple message was that if the Federal Government stuff up the wonderful opportunities that are before all Australians they “should be shot” . It was a great night and we left full of confidence about the economic way forward.
We had a big day on Wednesday with a conjunctional auction with L.J Hooker of a fantastic site in Cockburn Central. We did some really good work but struggled with getting that tent erected.
Received a call from Tony Romano just after the auction making sure we were all behaving ourselves. Tony is currently in Seattle in America on holidays but he is missing all his mates at De Freitas & Ryan. Enjoy, enjoy Tony because you are going to be a very busy boy when you get back to the “promise land” .
Migi is off interstate for a few days which means that there has been a bit of “positioning” by our staff members as to who is going to get the tickets to the big Freo Vs Collingwood game tonight.
Robs already into the spirit of things and Melita and I are really stoked to be going to the big game tonight. I wasn’t all that far out last week when I said Freo would beat Brisbane by 31 points. My prediction this week is Fremantle by 41 points. It just so happens that, that 41 is the number that Paul Duffield wears. It also just happens that Paul Duffield is the nephew of our “new boy” Adrian English.
Yes it’s certainly been another “Big Week In Real Estate” and we’ll catch you again next week.
