It's Been Another Big Week In Real Estate

What, “A Big Week In Real Estate’. It’s finally stopped raining but now we are experiencing a flood of sale and leasing activity. Our Travis is really quite a laconic fellow. I overheard him on the phone before telling a client that the market is really ok at the moment and he then went on to tell them in his most quiet and sincere voice that he personally had sold four properties this week and completed three commercial leases. Not bad for our gentle giant who also happened to be moving house last weekend.

Last Saturday night, some of the crew from De Freitas & Ryan went to the Fremantle Soccer Club quiz night and those of us who went had a ball. The two major prize winners (or winning tables) received prizes and yes, you guessed it, we were one of them. There was a prize for first and a prize for last so maybe that’s why some of our people are holding up those wooden spoons.

You’ve got to listen to what your public is saying and what they are saying is that they love our office but they are having trouble reading our window display at night. So accordingly, John, the electrician and his son were good enough to solve the problem by installing about 350,000 lights in the window display so as they say- Let There Be Light!

Migi has been touring around Asia for the past month and he had a wonderful time. He arrived back on Thursday, walked into the office and frightened us all with his new beard. We immediately booked him into the local Jim’s Mowing hairdressing salon and they cleaned him up. He didn’t take long to get “back in the saddle’ and he’s already only a whisker away from a few deals.

Talking about Migi, it was “The Twins’ birthday on the 17th of September with Mig coming in at 31 and yours truly at 58. Accordingly it was the yearly appointment at the doctor for the man 2 from 60 and the good news is all I have to do is lose about half a ton and the lovely doctor says I can start training for the Rotto swim again. So I didn’t eat much of the birthday cake, I left it for the others.

There is so much going on here and the “spirit’ in the office is amazing. Everyone is getting on with business and I’m personally picking up one in Success at $439,000 in the morning and then off to Hamilton Hill to pick up four properties (one in Munster) just before I open up a beautiful property in Jandakot at $750,000.

Pete has his first “business listing’, the rentals are powering along and Rocky “Balboa’ has just leased a huge new showroom. Rob’s just sold Suntree Mews and one of our best client’s, Joe Buccini’s factory units (Joe reads our blog every week) and he’s getting ready for his big auction in Naval Base next Wednesday.

Next Friday, the blog will be coming to you from Melbourne as I’m off to see the Grand Final. I won’t make a prediction as I’ve copped a lot of flack about last week’s tips.

Dalena’s giving me the “hurry up’’ as she and Mig are off soon to pick up another strata and yes, “It’s Been A Very, Very, Very Big Week In Real Estate’.

All the very best form the coal face of Real Estate in W.A.
