Last Tuesday morning I received a phone call at 7am from our local paper people to inform me that there had been a bit of a “muck up’ with our advertising. Then yesterday I received a call from our “media’ people to inform us that there had been a bit of a “muck up’ with our newsletter. Well, I guess that’s all part of the game so we filed it in the s... happens file and just got on with it.
I said last week that we had some news in relation to sponsorship and I am pleased to be able to announce that De Freitas & Ryan Property Consultants have been appointed as major sponsors of the Fremantle District Cricket Club, a very proud club with a history dating back to 1856.
Both Miguel and I have been “bowled over’ by this opportunity and we look forward to a long and beneficial association with the club.
Everybody is extremely busy and focussed at present as the market in both sales and leasing has been extremely active.
Yes, “It’s Been Another Big Week In Real Estate’ with some excellent results. I’ve just had a call to list a property in Success and I’m in Fremantle in the morning listing another one. Property is selling quite fast at the moment and we sometimes don’t get the chance to advertise them.
Yesterday yours truly had to assist one of our new tenants who had moved into a beautiful apartment in the city as it seems we failed to issue him with a key to his letterbox. I told him not to worry as I would have one cut and then post him a copy. Then our young Jason remarked, “How’s he going to get the key out of the mail box?’
Nuno and I set a target for our Rental Management back in January and we both agreed that if we could achieve it by the end of December, this year, we would be extremely happy. Little did we know then that we would be so successful and actually achieve that target by end of August this year. Yes, a brilliant performance and congratulations to our dedicated team.
Pete has been head down, tail up all week in his endeavours to get our new Business Brokerage division up and running and it’s all go, go, go.
Glen won our football tipping competition with Valeska a close second and talking about Peter Vinci – well, he came last. We all had a lot of fun and next year it will be bigger and better.
Got to fly as I am off to Mount Claremont to list a beautiful home and yes, it’s all a lot of fun.
Oh, I nearly forgot – we have a new receptionist starting Monday. Yes, welcome aboard young, Ashleigh Whittick, and we’re thrilled you’ve joined our team.
