What a week. What a “Big Week In Real Estate’ it’s been at De Freitas & Ryan. Lots of sales and leasing activity again with one really big fish being landed. I won’t embarrass or “muzz’ the Representative concerned but I will say that the deposit alone was in excess of $350,000 and that certainly made an impression on the old Trust Account.
Dalena is doing our “End of Month’ today and that’s when we get a chance to see the growth in our management portfolio. I’m excited as I know it’s going to be good because we’ve had some wonderful new business added to our portfolio this month.
With August coming to a close, it means that Rod has to do our monthly newsletter and it should be interesting as we have some exciting new initiatives happening here at the “coal face’ of Real Estate in W.A. One thing that took us all a bit by surprise was the new “monument’ being built out the front of our office.
Migi thought it might be a statue for the King of Portugal and Nuno suggested it might be Ronaldo, the soccer player. Robbo suggested Elle McPherson and our Portuguese sector suggested it probably was meant to be a well but the Irish architect got his plans upside down. As they say, “let’s leave the humour to the funny blokes’.
On a serious note, after much research and encouragement from clients, we have decided to further broaden the base of our business and include a new division. That new division will be business brokerage and we are all extremely excited about it. To find out more, read our monthly newsletter which will be published in a few days.
Sponsorships are something that is part of the culture of our business and we will have some wonderful news in regard to that side of things over the next few weeks.
We continue to receive excellent feedback in relation to our new local paper advertising format and it will now be interesting to see just how much of it is plagiarised by our competitors. I actually get a bit of a kick out of it as it would be horrible to become irrelevant in this business.
On that note, I better get off my backside and get out there and bring in more business for our team as believe me, they know how to sell, lease and manage property.

My thoughts on the Buddy Franklin issue is that Ben Cousins should have gotten a one week suspension for charging and that would have made things a lot easier for the Eagles tonight.
Sir Milton and Mig have just walked into the office all smiles as they have just listed a fantastic block in Ardross and two Commercial properties. One in Canning Vale and one in Bibra Lake.
