I arrived back from leave this week and I was quite amazed at how much has been going on in the short time I was away. De Freitas & Ryan is a very different business than it was even six months ago. Some of the business being transacted is really quite amazing.
I know at 2pm today for example, we’ve got a meeting onsite in Fremantle with one of our major clients who want us manage some very “serious’ real estate for them.
We’ve also just been appointed managing agents for a number of large commercial properties which will certainly add to our already impressive client management portfolio.
Just yesterday we had a new client who has offices in every state in Australia except Perth appoint us to assist with the design and eventual sale of a number of showrooms/offices they intend on building in Cockburn Central.
It just goes on and on with everyone extremely busy and focused on building our business and our brand.
As I’m typing this blog, I look around our office and see everyone going about their business and it’s all really satisfying. Trav looks like making it four sales this week if he can pull off a large one in Coogee. Peter has had a sad week in that one of his clients has passed away after only selling his house two weeks ago, Milton’s just knocked off a “double header’, Tanya’s sold a house and a block and Corey won’t tell me what he’s doing because that’s the way Corey operates. Anyway, it’s all a lot of fun.
Our Commercial boys are incredibly busy as are our rental people.
We’ve had some excellent feedback in regard to our De Freitas & Ryan cars and Nuno is convinced he’s getting more calls than ever.
We are hopeful of having our new local paper “up and running’ next week and it’s been a real team effort with lots of input from everyone. I’ve got a feeling that this new format will help improve our position in the marketplace and that’s exciting stuff.
I’m being wound up by Mig as we have to get down to Freo so we’ll catch you again next week after, “Another Big Week In Real Estate.’
