We had some advertising people in to see us yesterday and they were blown away by the “buzz’ and the activity that was going on in our office. It made me stop and appreciate just what we have created here and it’s all as a result of our developing culture and mission statement that simply states:
“De Freitas & Ryan to treat people personally and professionally in the same manner as they would like to be treated themselves.’
Well after “A Big Weekend in Melbourne’ and “A Big Weekend in Real Estate,’ it’s time to try and get back on top of all that’s been going on in the office. New listings in all divisions and some excellent sales results as well. Robert had his young son Jettson as his “apprentice’ this week for two days and it was quite funny as Rob took him along to wrap up a sale on each of the days he was looking after him.
The only problem we had was when we give the little fella the bell to ring, he wouldn’t give it back and wanted to take it home. Anyway, it all ended well and we even put him on the payroll for his two days work experience which is pretty huge for a two year old.
Talking about payrolls, we are thrilled with the appointment of our new Sales Representative, Mr. Rocky Porcaro.
Rocky has hit the ground running with a number of new listings in the “pipeline’. An experienced operator with an excellent track record, we are all excited about the new addition to our company.
It’s an extremely busy time for our rental people and I’ve just been informed of some new managements we’ve picked up as a result of recommendations and this most satisfying.
I’ve also had a few handshakes and pats on the back from our staff as our quarterly profit sharing cheques have just been issued and I must say it’s smiles all around.
I’m trying to pin Miguel down today to try and discuss two new approaches we’ve had from Salespeople to join our company, but that’s easier said than done. It’s an exciting time at De Freitas & Ryan and it’s fantastic being surrounded by so many enthusiastic, ethical, dedicated and driven young people.
