Yes, it’s certainly been, “Another Big Week in Real Estate’. I’m pretty sure everyone is over the “dreaded lurgy’ that sent most of our people home to bed last week and now we’ve all got that other health issue of all being too busy. Actually, it’s rather good being too busy in a supposedly sick economy so we’ll just get on and enjoy it.
My little mate, Miggy beeped the horn out the front of the homestead on Wednesday morning and we ventured off to Bunbury to auction a couple of commercial sites.
Unfortunately there was “no cigar’ but we have interest following the auction and hopefully we’ll sell both blocks in the next few days. She’s a great place, Bunbury and a good place to park some investment dollars with a predicted population increase of 74% over the next 20 years, what are you waiting for?
Our Property Manager, Nuno, has had the gong. Worn out, exhausted, run down, fatigued and so it’s time for him to take a break. So we asked the human dynamo what he is going to do and where is he going to go on his long overdue holiday and he replied, “I am staying home and painting the house.’ So there you go. We look forward to his return as he is quite a character and a very busy and capable man.
While we’re on the subject of Property Management, boy have we been busy. I’ve just been told I’ve got a 9am and 10:30am appointment tomorrow to assist with picking up another two managements and this week already I think they’ve leased quite a few. I know our website totals some twenty five properties For Lease so we’ve come a long way from our rental list of 1 back in the early days of our business.
Rob, Dalena and I met with a new commercial tenant (management) we picked up yesterday in Hope Valley and it just needs a bit of sorting out and then that will be all “plugged in’.
On the way to Bunbury on Wednesday, Miguel turned off at Port Kennedy as he had to drop some keys off to a client. He then said, “I want to show you a new management we have that comes on board in four weeks time.’ I said, “OK, where is it?’ and the next thing we drove through the gates of the “MCG’ and I said, “Heck Mig, what is this?’ and he replied, “It’s our new management Trav did a few months ago.’ I said, “It’s huge. What is it?’ Mig said, “It’s Port Kennedy’s new Bunnings Trade Centre and we are the managing agents.’ I got so excited, I tried to talk Mig into stopping at McDonald’s for breakfast but I couldn’t talk him into it.
Yes, we do have a lot of fun building our business and yes, it is a lot of hard work but it’s what we do
Sam is busy with another large mail out that is to take place next week and everyone else has their head down, tail up selling, listing and leasing Real Estate.
We’re all off to the footy again tonight to see a great game against Hawthorn and now that Harvey has been reading our blog and put Sandilands and Solomon in the right positions, Freo will make it four in a row.
Have a great weekend everyone, don’t forget to vote and we’ll catch you again next week after, “Another Big Week in Real Estate’.
