New office opening soon in Perth

It's Been Another Big Week In Real Estate

Property Blog - Week 68
By Rod Ryan and Dalena Lindstrom

I just called out to Samantha our receptionist and said “I’m about to do the blog Sam, what have we been doing this week” Sam’s reply was “running around like headless chooks” , I said Sam “speak for yourself” and Sam replied “ I’m serious we are all so busy we should have all gone on holidays with Trav and Dalena” .

Yes, it has been all go again this week with activity in all divisions of the business. Having people on leave also compounds the situation but it’s better to be busy particularly when you watch the news and see so many people unfortunately losing their jobs.

At our property management meeting last week it was suggested that we revisit our property condition reports and see if there was a more efficient system we could introduce into the business to save valuable time. After some research and suggestions we feel we have come up with a fantastic solution. This hopefully will take some pressure off our staff and deliver our clients an even better more efficient service. Well done team and keep up the good work.

In last week’s blog I asked you to keep your fingers crossed for me as we had a potential new client coming into the office at 4pm on Friday afternoon with the prospect of us taking over the management of their families multimillion dollar property portfolio.

I’m pleased to report that it all went extremely well and we now have the job of getting all their investment properties back on track including a retail complex on Rokeby Road, Subiaco and a huge development in the heart of Armadale. We appreciate the opportunity and the challenge and we will restore the families faith in commercial Real Estate agents.

Our Peter Vinci desperately wanted to be in the photo but his head would have taken up most of the shot as he has had an extremely big week in Real Estate. I’ve just had a call from clients of his in South Fremantle to say they are on their way into our office to sign off on the sale of their home. Peter told them to come in and see me as he is busy selling something in Perth.

Our business continues to strengthen as our people and our reputation blossom. I interviewed a delightful young man last night who will be joining our sales team after being in the retail business for the past 15 years. We are also on the lookout for someone to join our Property Management team as the growth in that area has been really quiet amazing. Melita’s off to Parliament Place in West Perth to lease a beautiful luxury apartment this morning and both her and Nuno have had a sensational week topping off what will be our best month ever in Property Management.

Thanks again to all those people out there who have taken such an interest in our company and who have been of tremendous support. We are continuing to strive for excellence at De Freitas & Ryan and its great having you share the journey with us.

Hi to Trav and Dalena over in the Pacific Islands and have a good break, as you’re going to be extremely busy on your return. Just quickly, Trav listed a home in Blackthorne Crescent in South Lake last Friday and sold it on Sunday then jumped on a plane the following morning. Yes, It’s Been Another Big Week In Real Estate at De Freitas & Ryan.
