Oh what “A Big Week It’s Been In Real Estate’ as our company continues its march forward to establish itself as Perth’s number one real estate organisation.
We are obtaining some excellent results and what makes it all the more satisfying is that we are doing it in a tough market.
I’ve just completed our one on one for the week with our salespeople and it is very pleasing to see how busy they all are. Sales are steady, listings are steady but we’re all keen to do better.
It is really interesting this business. I received a call from a chap this week who used to be in the real estate business but he now has the job of looking after an elderly parent and also the family’s multimillion dollar property portfolio.
He informed me that he reads our blog as a way of keeping in touch with the real estate market and that he is impressed with what he has learned about De Freitas & Ryan.
I was greatly encouraged by what he was saying and then he said he would like to make an appointment to come and see me as he is not happy with his present managing agent. He then said, “Maybe you might be interested in taking over my family’s property portfolio.’
Four o’clock today, I am meeting with this fellow and from what I’ve been told, it may prove to a be a most interesting appointment and hopefully of mutual benefit to our company and his family’s property interests.
Dalena informs me that we’ve just been appointed as Strata Managers for two new commercial complexes and that we’ve got a chance of picking up a new residential complex next week. Peter has just informed (I keep being interrupted today) that he’s about to sell another one today in Cooloongup for around the $340,000 mark and he believes he’s got another one just about “put to bed’ in Freo tomorrow.
It’s all go and it’s all exciting stuff at the moment. Mig tells me he’s listed two auctions. One in Hilton and one in Kwinana Beach (next to one I auctioned and sold two years ago) and that I have to see them both today.
I told him to stop pushing me as I’ve got a lot on and he said, “So have we all.’ Can be a bit rude sometimes our Miguel but I’ve got to help our new lady, Tanya tonight with a home in Hilton and then I’ve got a 6:30pm in Kardinya with an existing client who wants to either sell or lease a small home the family owns in Parmelia.
More interruptions, this time from Travis and Rob so I’ll talk to you next week after what is sure to be “Another Big Week in Real Estate’.
