It's Been Another Big Week In Real Estate

What a sad week it’s been in Real Estate. I heard the Vice President of REIWA on the radio the other day (David Airey) saying that he was off to an urgent meeting in Canberra with fellow Real Estate Agents from around Australia to try and assist the victims of the Victorian bushfires. As a former Victorian, I have been thrilled with the way West Australians have rushed to the aid of people in need in the Eastern States and it will never be forgotten.

Where the fires are is a very special part of the world and it will return to being that again once more due to the support and generosity of people throughout Australia and overseas. Well done to everyone who has supported the bushfire victims.

Sales have been steady and we are listing quite well as well which is pleasing. I have an auction on tomorrow at 4 Seabrook Way in Medina (12 o’clock) and we are hoping for an excellent result. I haven’t done an auction for about three months so I’ll have to have a bit of a practice in the shower tomorrow morning.

Well it’s audit time again and our auditor, Martin Silver said he was so impressed with our new office that he could now definitely put his fees up. We enjoyed Martin being with us but we particularly enjoyed the fact that we are doing all the right things according to the Act and of course, Martin Silver. Martin was showing off his latest form of marketing but we won’t “bag’ him too much.

Rob and Dalena shared (well only a couple of days apart) a birthday and that means we all got to share some cake and have a bit of a sing song.

I’ve got heaps on today. Picking up two new properties in Applecross and one in Aubin Grove. Tanya listed a beauty in Spearwood last night. Miguel’s just sold a home in the Paris end of Hilton and Travis is in West Perth leasing some office space.

People continue to support our company and the amount of new business we are gaining is very satisfying.

We donate money every month to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation however this month, we will also be sending some money to the bushfire victims via the ANZ Bank in Success.

We’ve got some great people in our company and I’m proud to be associated with them.

Have a great week, stay safe and we’ll catch you next week after another, “Big Week In Real Estate.’
