I got into a bit of strife with our Property Manager this week as I was a bit too keen to start the month of February off on our white board. Yes, you guessed it, I cleaned off all of January leasings before I should have and Nuno and Melita had to go back over some 30 new files and work out what was what.
Anyway, I helped out with some property inspections through the week as they are both extremely busy so now I’m back in the good books.
It’s been busy again sales wise this week with some excellent results and we’ve also done some serious work in our commercial leasing. Residential leasing is busy, busy, busy with a lot of new business walking in the door. We need about 50 more homes to let as the demand is so strong. Yes, we are busy.
Nuno and Melita have picked up a number of new managements already this month and it looks like we’ll reach our targets again this month.
The auditor is in next week so that will keep us occupied for awhile but all should be fine as this place is now running very smoothly thanks to our admin staff.
We have been doing some training this week and the team is responding really well. It is really interesting comparing our methods of practice with employees who have joined us from other companies. They seem to be responding well to our style of things and I am confident we are building an exceptional Residential Sales team. Lots still to do but we’re definitely headed in the right direction.
I’m off to the accountant so I better move as if I’m late he won’t be able to figure it out.
