The activity in this place has been amazing this week with everyone getting on with business. On top of that we’ve had meetings with bankers, web designers, telephone companies, maintenance companies, data base companies and so on it goes. Yes, we’re busy and we’ve also got to the point where we’ve run out of room in our office / showroom.

- Miguel, Trav and Yours Truly
Year five in our business plan is dedicated to expansion, so as a result we have been considering our options as to where we should set up our next office. Miguel, Travis and I have been checking out some potential sites, but as yet we haven’t found what we consider to be the right fit. We’re looking for a premises within a 5-10km radius of our South Lake office and we will look at all options. So if there’s something you think may suit us please contact either Mig, Trav or myself on 9499 6000. We’re keen and we’re ready to go.
Now back to normal business. When I look at the white board behind me as to what we’ve sold and leased this week I can’t help but have a little chuckle. We’ve listed and sold quite a lot of property and business’s this week including fish and chips shops, cafes, restaurants, factories, showrooms, vacant land, houses, apartments and one big fat development site for $1.6 million. Yes, it’s all happening and we’re all enjoying the excellent results we’re achieving for our clients.

- Chinese Whispers
With the emergence of China and this century now being referred to by many as the “Asian Century” De Freitas & Ryan have embraced this by employing Asian personnel within our company. Already we believe we have broadened our client base and created a greater sphere of influence for our company. We are now advertising in the Australian Chinese Times and as a result opening up a whole new target market across all divisions of our business. Interesting times ahead.
Looking around our office at the moment there are people darting about everywhere. The “Portuguese Man of War” our Senior Property Manager Nuno Ouro has just taken on two new properties as a result of recommendation from one of his existing clients. Melita’s arranging for a hot water service to be replaced in one of her clients properties and “mopping up” after having a burst pipe attended to by Austwest Plumbing at a clients property in Mount Lawley around midnight last night. It’s certainly not a glamour job this Real Estate business and it’s certainly a lot of hard work but we do have our good times as well.
One of my clients just rang to tell me they want me to list their property for sale in Coolbellup and another one wants me to take on two rental properties, one in Spearwood and another in East Fremantle.
Time to rush off, so we’ll catch you again next week after ‘Another Big Week In Real Estate’.
