It’s been a big week in “Politics” as well as Real Estate and boy oh boy, Migi “The Marvel” won the meat tray for his prediction last week, as to who would win the election. Migi is on leave at the moment, so we can tell you that his brother is the leader of the Greens Bob Brown’s press secretary which means that Mig probably feels that, that makes Miguel De Freitas about fourth in line to the throne. Anyway it’s all a bit of fun but my favourite character to come out of the election “Fiasco” is the Federal Member for Kennedy in Queensland Bob Katter. Should we all be worried?….. I think we probably should.

Enough about politics, there’s been plenty going on at De Freitas & Ryan. Sales, sales and more sales as we finish off what has been an excellent month of August. With Mig away it’s been like we’ve all had a holiday, but I better keep that to myself.

Sir Milton Coombe keeps on building his client list and here is another satisfied customer. Yes keep up the good work Milton and I do love that testimonial that Frank wrote-yes Sir Milton the one you dictated for him.
- “HECKLE AND JECKLE” AT IT AGAIN
“Two listings before 9 o’clock Boss”, was the call first thing this morning from Adrian (Heckle) and Graham (Jeckle) and then later on in the morning “Jeckle” stuck his head in my office to tell me I had better change the photo as he’d just picked up number 3 for the day.
- THE APPLE DOESN’T FALL FAR FROM THE TREE
Young Joseph Romano has been helping out his busy father (El Presidente’ Tony Romano) so we thought we’d squeeze him onto our blog this week. With a bit of luck we might be able to convince him that Real Estate is the “go”, but time will tell. In the meantime he’s helping himself to Migi’s fancy coffee machine and knocking off all of the chocolate biscuits- its great having him around.
- WELCOME ABOARD KATHERINE
Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) at Curtin University will not do our new Sales Consultant Katherine Graham any harm. I went through Melbourne University myself for four years many years ago, but that was only because I had to get from the bus stop on the corner of Elgin and Lygon Street Carlton (and walk through the Melbourne University) to get to High School in Royal Parade Parkville in Melbourne. Anyway, seriously, Katherine has a big future ahead of her in Real Estate and she has already hit the ground running.
I’m extremely busy today and I’m just about to get on a conference call regarding a $6 million dollar deal Tony is involved in and I’ve got to get out of here early so I can see this years’ grand finalist Freo play the Might Blues.
