It’s been a big week in Politics as well as Real Estate. The old Real Estate game can be a bit hostile sometimes and you have to learn to watch your back but boy oh boy or should I say girl oh girl these pollies really know how to wield the knife.
We’ve been selling and leasing like crazy this week as we finish of the financial year in style. Gary "Ablett" has been kicking goals in South Lake one after the other and Rob and his Commercial mates have been staring as well. Last week "Migi The Marvel" had his photo taken with a bunch of flowers while he was in the middle of a $1.6 million dollar deal. Well Migi with a little helping hand from his mates at Ron Farris’s office tip toed through the tulips and wrapped up a deal around the $1.5 million dollar mark. As it turns out we’ve had a lot of multi million dollar deals this month.

Half our "League Of Nations" staff have been sitting up all night watching the World Cup and coming in the next morning half asleep. I must confess I’ve been one of them and the "Italian" and I have had some really lovely evenings watching the boys strut their stuff.
One of Sir Milton’s mates however suggested that it’s all just a case of history replating itself. When asked why he said - the World Cup has turned out like the 2nd World War. The French surrended early, the Italians gave up without a fight, the Americans arrived at the last minute and the Poms are left to fight the ....... Germans. Well I’m not even going to comment on that other to say I reckon that’s pretty dam good.
Anyway back to business, I’ve got heaps I have to get through so I can get to our favourite restaurant tonight to celebrate what has been another great year for us at De Freitas & Ryan. Then It’s off to the Rugby tomorrow night to cheer on the Bunny’s and because "Migi The Marvel" is best mates with the South Sydney Rugby League physio we are all catching up with Russell Crowe in the rooms with all the players. Melita is going to dress up as a boy so she can get in the rooms as well to see "The Gladiator" so it should be a fun night.
