It’s Been A Big Week In Real Estate

Yes it’s certainly been a big week in real estate. It all started on the weekend with some excellent sales courtesy of our “sales force” and then continued hot and strong through the week.

I had a date with Sir Milton Coombe on Monday night but before he cooked me dinner at his Hamilton Hill mansion he made me earn it. We had a meeting with a lovely Italian family in Spearwood together with their close friend, well known and respected Real Estate Agent Joe Gianoli and we jointly placed their five acre subdividable property up for Auction on the 2nd of June. It’s a really special property, in the right place at the right time and we are looking forward to working with Southside Realty in achieving and excellent result.

I’ve been busy this week sorting out all the business sales which has ended in tears due to the loss of a staff member. I’m determined to rebuild this side of our business and have already appointed Mr Adrian English to head up this most important division of our company. I’m looking forward to the challenge, so watch this space.

As we all know Melbourne storm has been hit by lightning and the fall out will be quiet extensive. The ramifications were the topic of conversation by some of our “boys” during our lunch break and I must say quiet enlightening. It’s extremely busy in here today and I’ve just got back from checking out a huge new Auction of big Travs in Rockingham.

Miguel and I have had a series of meetings this week which could reshape the direction of the business. It’s very scary on one hand but very exciting on the other. However we are determined to continue to grow our business and be the best we can be. I need to fly as I’ve got to finalise the local paper advertising and do a million other things before I get to put my feet up and watch the footy tonight.

Have a great weekend everyone, embrace our ANZAC tradition and we’ll catch you again next week.
