Well, even though it’s been a short week, it’s been “Another Big Week in Real Estate’ here at De Freitas & Ryan.
Unfortunately I’ve just had to clean off the white board for March and may I tell you we did very well last month. Probably where we did best was that all our people were individually busy and really doing some excellent work.
Migi has just become far too busy and he’s been putting in some incredible hours and some incredible performances. I pulled him aside after the Easter Break and told him we are going to have to get him some more support as our other commercial guys are also “overloaded” and need support as well. Anyway, in goes another ad to try and find a “side kick” for Migi and boy-oh-boy what a fantastic job opportunity that is.
Sir Milton Coombe has been a fantastic acquisition to our company and of great assistance to me personally. We are growing our residential side of the business at a healthy rate and us two “old fellas” are having a ball at the same time. We did an appraisal last night on a $3 million property so fingers crossed old son, and let’s just hope we’re successful.
We were all shocked yesterday to turn around in the office and hear Sam asking for some assistance with adding some new phones to our phone system. Young Ashleigh grabbed the camera, burst out laughing and said “Hey Rod, don’t miss out on this blog photo opportunity!” .
Our man "Leonardo Peter De Vinci’s" mum is not too good at the moment so he’s been a bit up in the air. We’ve only got one mum mate so we’re all behind you in her care situation.
Big Trav is enjoying fatherhood and also enjoying being super busy at the moment, as he now has three mouths to feed. He’s a bit of a star, our Trav, and so is the new arrival Mr. N.B.L., Nathaniel Buddy Lindstrom.
I was with some old clients of mine on Tuesday and they asked me how long it had been since I moved here to the promise land of Western Australia. It worked out that it was 9 years to the day (6/4/10) since I commenced my Real Estate career here in Perth.
The next nine years is going to be fun. I can’t wait to see just how far some of these young guns at De Freitas & Ryan will take their Real Estate careers and I just hope that I’m able to keep up with them all because I’ve really been enjoying the ride so far.
Rocky has just informed me that I am not allowed to refer to our sales organisation as a team or a service anymore. According to “Rocky Balboa” we are now a “Sales Force’, not a sales team, so there you go. Actually it makes a lot of sense and I certainly won’t be arguing with the “world champ” so it looks like it’s “Sales Force’ from now on.
I’ve got to get through a huge workload today in order to prepare for a busy weekend so I’ll catch you again next week.
Looks like the Freo boys have finally started listening to the coaching advice from the team - sorry, the “Force’ - at De Freitas & Ryan, and we should have another easy win over Geelong on Sunday.
