I knew that date 12th of February rang a bell. No not the “rang a bell” because we’ve sold another property (and believe me there’s been plenty of that going on this week), but it’s Robbo’s 35th birthday today and he looks like celebrating it with a couple of deals.
I’ve been a bit concerned with our lighting out the front of our building. We’ve got this fantastic location but the original above verandah lights are not worth a “crumpet” and they keep on malfunctioning. It seemed a little odd that the ones that kept going out were the ones lighting up the “Ryan’ part of the De Freitas & Ryan logo so I pulled young Migi aside and asked him if there was something we needed to talk about. To show his innocence he said, “Let’s just put up some really serious new lights,” and then he let out that “famous laugh” of his.
As we told you last week, “Brains Trust” is off to baby land so we’ve had to add another new person to our company.
With our company now totalling some twenty people and in fact twenty extremely busy people, it became apparent that we needed to ensure that everything within our organisation ran very smoothly. It was decided that we needed a dedicated career Real Estate person who was not only capable of keeping on top of the normal day to day running of our business, but someone who was also keen to share our vision of taking De Freitas & Ryan to the top of our industry.
We are thrilled to have appointed Rhiannon Blake to our team as Head of Administration. Rhiannon has built an enviable reputation within the Real Estate industry and comes to us following a highly successful five year stint with Acton Real Estate here in Perth. De Freitas & Ryan are fortunate to have a number of very fine, very talented young people within our organisation and we are full of anticipation as to just how far Rhiannon and her new team members can take this dynamic young organisation.
That’s all pretty serious stuff. But yes, we are growing and it’s becoming very obvious that we are becoming more and more relevant out there in the market place. Sir Milton Coombe listed a beautiful home this week only to have the owner tell him that the opposition had some very unkind words to say about our company. Bit of a shame, however the owner was so appalled it made up her mind to place her property with us immediately.
It’s all happening. Corey had a bit of a “wobble” with one of his deals but he just got the unconditional approval this morning. He’s also just wrapped up a unit in Success for about $415,000 so I thought I’d grab him before he rings the bell. Our excitable boy, Rocky Balboa just rang the bell so loud that we had to cover our ears as he has just knocked another one over for $1.2 million in Maddington.
Just as I was walking back to my office, our man Leonardo Da Peter Vinci informed me that he’s just listed another three businesses and he’s selling one in Freo this afternoon.
Anyway, I’ve got to run. We have a new Sales Consultant starting with us next Monday and I’ve got to get everything sorted and I’m also looking forward to some of Robbo’s birthday cake.
Thanks again to everyone out there who supports our company and have made this, “Another Big Week In Real Estate’.
